I want this sooooo bad.

Just please, Bethesda. NO MMO!!!!!

In fact, I wont mind if there is no multiplayer at all.

Just make a good, long singleplayer game.

PS - If possible, make the main quest a little bit longer.

Bethesda Game Studios is making a single player Elder Scrolls like usual. No worries there.

Zenimax Online is making the MMO (most likely an Elder Scrolls MMO but could be a Fallout MMO)

Bethesda Softworks (publisher) will publish both games.

Really? Thanks.

About the Fallout MMO, the last I heard Interplay (who had the rights for Fallout initially) are winning a judicial battle against Bethesda and are making a Fallout MMO.

Yeah that's why I believe - and hope - that the Zenimax MMO is in fact an Elder Scrolls MMO because it would have been too risky to start developing a Fallout MMO already in 2007 and then have it canceled due to a court decision. Also, elderscrollsonline is a registered website.

Now many people will say an Elder Scrolls MMO is a disgrace but since we know that main Bethesda is making the single player games as usual I say why not also have an MMO in that same world, it's just a bonus and there's a chance I might get to have fun with it for at least a few months.

Oh, I'd kill for a great-executed ES game. To wander from Morrowind to Shimmering Isles @_@

Am I reading it right, you mean a MMO?

I must say I don't mind bugs though! They're almost never a deal breaker. I'd rather have a huge complex game with tons of bugs than a polished game with limited freedom.

And often very funny. Apparently in the Knights of the Nine, the main Knight (can't remember the name now) at the end of his speech he raises his arms; if you interrupt him at this point (talking to him) he will now constantly raise his arms whilst standing still!

OK, it's kinda sad, but it's an entertaining companion to have with you :P

The engine is not buggy, it's probably Bethesda's fault lol. Dark Age of Camelot back in 2001 ran on Gamebryo and was super stable and had the most stable launch of a MMO the world had seen. I played it for 2 years experiencing lots of updates including a huge graphical overhaul. A great engine.

Now the dev tools to make a game in Gamebryo might be non-intuitive or something, that I don't know. So in a way it could be Gamebryo's fault indirectly. New Vegas will show us if it's the engine/tools or the dev's fault.

I know Gamebryo can be pretty decent... I was a bit surprised when I found out Civ IV was using Gamebryo. I never encountered too many bugs in it. I'm sure it can be a decent engine but Bethesda sure doesn't know how to use it. Also, I don't think New Vegas is going to show us anything about how Gamebryo is, it's practically based on the Fallout 3 engine which is Bethesda's already-buggy version of Gamebryo.

Anyway, I hate bugs. Not the little things crawling everywhere but the ones in games. Usually they're not a deal-breaker for me either but Oblivion was pretty bad... And they can almost literally break a game, so that's pretty bad.
