You can see the "Wii games don't sell" statement from Ubisoft once this game tanks coming from a mile away.

No, because they didn't do it with Red Steel 2.

Actually, they did.

They said the game was tracking according to expectations. I can find a link if you ask. So you need to prove they said otherwise.

Yes, find me a link.

That is not what you claimed. That is "Games with a lot of limiting factors will hurt sales", not "Wii games don't sell".

The closest thing was "might be a mismatch", but that was still just one possible factor, instead of brushing it off with claiming the mismatch was a certainty.

"Vandenbergite also mentioned that the target hardcore audience might be a mismatch for the Wii"

On the list of reasons given for lack of sales:

"It was only available on a single platform (Wii)"

"The hardcore audience is on 360/PS3"

Read the entire article.  It was full of excuses.  Nowhere did they talk about the real issue, the game itself.

Now please hold up your end of the bargain by producing a link.

I repeat, those bullet points are interpretation, not quotes from the guy, only the first part was. So I did read the whole article, since I would have had to have noticed the lack of quotes on the actual thing, which you are making it look as though they are quotes here.

I'll hold up my end, if you actually look at the difference between actual quotes and interpretations of comments.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Quote from article:

"Here are the pros and cons of Red Steel 2, according to its Creative Director. "

Then those bullets were listed:

Cons:
- It was only available on a single platform (Wii)
- Piracy (Vandenbergite didn't go into detail about this one)
- The hardcore audience is on 360/PS3
- There is lingering disappointment about the first Red Steel
- It missed its holiday release window

In case you missed it, the cons were according to the RS2 Creative Director.

Quit trolling.

I repeat, unless they can show he directly said that, those are just interpreting his comments, not an actual quote.

And disputing points is not trolling. That is a completely different thing.

I feel cool because I have an extension downloaded on Google Chrome where it says the title of the Youtube link. To you guys it looks like a simple URL link, to me it says "Youtube - Mad Mad Mario"

Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.
