What was that you were saying about GT5P never being bundled?



Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.

What like how Halo 3 came bundled with every Xbox 360 sold from the games release date until a year later. Even now you can buy bundles with Halo 3 and ODST. Also Gran turismo Prologue sold over 5 million copies without being bundled and it wasn't a full GT game. Halo ODST managed to sell 5 million after being bundled since christmas last year with 5 million more so called attach rates

You said it was bundled with EVERY 360 sold for  a YEAR... thats a frankly idiotic thing to say and if you had taken the time to think about it you wouldnt have said it... 9m 360's were sold during that period.

So I guess Halo3 only sold 2m at retail then?  

Yeah that was a stupid thing of me to say. I didn't mean it was bundled with every single 360 available. I meant a Halo 3 bundle was available from the games release until over a year later just like the one available for GT3 when that released.

Not true either. Even the green special edition Halo 3 console didn't bundle Halo 3. The game bundles came well after the game launch. Because if there was a bundle at the time, I would have bought it.

If SONY don't make bundle with Gran Turismo 5 im north america will be a big FAIL

I'm not sure if ODST hit 5 million or was very close before bundling. And I'm pretty sure it was just bundled with the Elite models. Anyhow, it was a full priced game that was basically just an expansion. Not bad in my opinion.

Yeah but the same could be said about GT5P. It was only a demo with 80 cars and 6 tracks.

But GT5P was not a demo. Most racing demos I've played generally have one track, a couple cars, and that's it. GT5P offered a lot more and online play. Its only $30 buck and it's all fans have had for about 3 years. Ultimately, GT5P was a great success for what it is, but delays have a lot to do with the sales it received.

ODST has only been out a year, it was $60 at launch, and the big draw (multi player) was ripped directly from Halo 3. ODST is also maintaining great legs and I believe all (or atleast most) of the bundled consoles are gone.

You sure about that? 14 million sold on a platform that has 140 million consoles sold = 10% attach ratio

Halo 1 sold 6 million on a platform that sold 29 million = 20% attach ratio

Halo 2 sold 9 million = 30% attach ratio

Might want to take some more math classes
