I don't really think we'll see anything of Uncharted 3 at Gamescon to be honest. Perhaps a logo.

Since Naughty Dog isn't into CGI, I don't think we'll see anything video-like because the first video we're gonna see will probably be in-game graphics. That would be too soon.

It doesn't have to be CGI, and Uncharted 2 released almost a year ago now! Surely they can make up a quick teaser trailer in a year!! And last years Gamescom had the UBER epic awesome Uncharted 2 trailer. I have my fingers crossed!

I really hope we see a teaser trailer or something

My personal wish for improvement over UC1 and UC2 is fewer enemies, but no auto-heal. Personally I like having to use (and be economical with) healing stuff. And also with no auto-heal they can introduce protective equipment for Drake to find / wear, and instead of your companions being invincible they can take damage too, which you will need to use your healing materials on them for them to live through the companion levels.

Other than that the overall gameplay elements in the previous 2 games are fine for me. As a much bigger platformer fan than shooter fan I'd be more than happy to see the platform:Shooting ration move even further towards platforming (and by extension puzzles).

As to GT5 UC1 and 2 are already better than GT5 IMO. But UC3 needs to beat Valkyria Chronicles and Demon's Souls to be a contender for GOTG for me.

I think Uncharted 2 was first unveiled in December 2008.

Uncharted 2 took basically 2 years to make.

So I would guess we can expect Uncharted 3 in Fall 2011.

Perhaps we'll see something but I would be extremely suprised.

Making DLCs for Uncharted 2 might have slowed down the production of Uncharted 3.

But we sure can hope though!

So you're saying a action adventure game is going to be better than a racing simulator? How can you even compare those two? Surely not by comparing the storylines?(because GT5 doesn't even have one).

And personally i was more impressed by the first Uncharted than by the second. Not that Uncharted 2 didn't improve on the first in many aspects, it just didn't have the same impact on me. I also found the storyline of the first more interesting.

Besides Uncharted 2 was just a bit to over the top sometimes, even for me. For example take the trainscene, being stuck on a train with a chopper firing rockets at you(with the train magically staying in one piece btw), even when sitting in a fixed gunposition(the tank) and surviving is something even Michael Bay wouldn't dare think about in his wildest dreams.
