absolutely agreed.  BioShock was all about exploring this new fantasitical setting and this is much more in the spirit of the original game than Bioshock 2 was.

I'm blown away.  This looks phenomenal.

And it's actually made by Ken Levine and the original team behind Bioshock 1.  This game cannot come soon enough.

2k Marin is the team that developed Bioshock 2

Irrational Games, formerly 2K Boston, whose chief developer is the incredible Ken Levine created Bioshock 1.  Also Ken has basically stated that Bioshock now is like Final Fantasy.  The worlds don't overlap.  This game takes place before Bioshock 1 but not really in the same universe.
