Forums - Gaming - Anyone here play facebook games?

With the rise of casual games and Google seemingly looking to expand into that market space, I wanted an idea of how many core and traditional gamers (thats you) play casual micro-management games based on social networking sites like (but not limited to) facebook.

Do you play? What do you play and why?

I'll start by admitting I play Castle Age on facebook as it's ultimately a useful tool for procrastination while I'm meant to be writing my thesis and the fantasy setting appeals to me.

I play phpdiplomacy there as well as on the webdiplomacy.net site. That's is, however, I did accept an entry into Mafia Wars so all my friends would STFU. I have never actually played it though, seems stupid.

I played poker for a while. Got about a million chips then got bored.

Never really understood the farmville craze, looked rather uninteresting to me.

webdiplomacy actually sounds quite interesting. Any good?

FARMVILEE

I tried several of them, but damn...they were so boring. The Mafia Wars was the worst game I've ever played. It's as bad as Progress Quest where you just click a button and text plays for you except Progress Quest is meant as a joke game so at least it's understandable, but they actually charge people for this one...

Last year I really got into Mob wars and played the crap out of it, and last winter I got into Farmville pretty good.  But now I just play the occasional Mob Wars (about once a week) when I'm bored.

Ninja Warz on Facebook, and Mafia Wars on Myspace(I don't play Mafia Wars anymore though)

I tried Farmville, but found it boring.

Best strategy game I play. Also, since its based on phases, its something you can play at your own time.
