The card that WilliamWatts suggested only uses 64 watts, it should work even with a 350 W PSU no?

The 5670? That requires a 400 watt power supply according to the requirements listed on Newegg. You could probably still run it on a 350 watt power supply, but there's no guarantee.

The HD 5670 is a good option, the HD 5750 is even better and you may find it almost for the same price.

If you want something cheaper, there are still plenty of cards better than the 9500 GT. I like this chart, it's similar to the one ameratsu posted but it's in text which is great for searching:

the one i posted is searchable (ctrl f) but the one you posted is more up to date as it has fermi cards listed.

Demon's Souls Official Thread  | Currently playing: Left 4 Dead 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Magicka

so should i get a graphics card at best buy? Also I have an Hp a6110n. I checked the power supply and it said the max output was 250w. Anyways what do you guys think of the XFX- ATI Raedon HD4650 ($90) and the Nvidia Geforce GT240($110).

Damn!!! I guess I am very limited with my 250W power supply. Does anyone have any ideas?

Give me a second, im going to look your system up.

alright thanks

Theres the motherboard information, looks good as the system is rated to take a processor which uses more power than what your system uses, up to 89W

That tells me your processor is rated as up to 65W

So the overall system including processor ought to use less than 100W, don't worry about the power supply inefficiencies. I feel good that you can use either:

  • HD 5670 (any card, though go with the one William Watts linked as its dual slot and $85 after MIR)
  • or anything weaker than that such as the 5650 or 5570 depending on your budget.

You could use something like a 5750, but at some risk to your computer given its age. I feel confident in a 5670 however.

my processor should not be a problem right?

Thats not too bad, but the 5670 is usually better for the money. Its higher performance and supports the latest features in games.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150451&cm_re=GT240-_-14-150-451-_-Product

For instance costs more than the HD 5670 and is less powerful. But if you prefer Nvidia GPUs then it would do the job, that I have no question about.
