great sales for sony consoles, poor wii

could push the PS3 total ahead of Wii world wide this week!

PS3 is really beginning to take over japan, and with nintendo having barely anything on the horizon that appears strongly to the japanese consumer, they  may fall further behind. Tales of Grace F, and the new Tales game for ps3 may push ps3 hardware higher, and PS move may take a bit of momentum from the wii in japan.

Not quite as high as I was hoping for PS3 but still VERY nice. Perhaps Famitsu will have it higher. LOL lucky 7s for PSP go.

PSP's spike was because of the 200K plus game release it had

PS3 also had a 250K plus game release, and the new WHITE 160GB/320GB PS3 slim model!

250k releases never help wii boost... now this actually makes me wonder...... what can nintendo do for wii in japan???

It still is the system of choice since it has a near 8 million install base, compared to the ps3's 4 million?

But, it needs support, not many games are coming out for it, while the ps3's line up looks to be much better in japan.
