Forums - Nintendo - Conduit 2 Multiplayer BETA Petition

"With Conduit 2 still a long way off, many of The Conduit faithful yearn for a Conduit 2 BETA. After receiving an e-mail from HVS hinting at the possibility Scourge and I (The_Noah) thought to try to make this happen. By signing this e-petition you help make that goal a reality. This may work through Wii Shop Channel or by some other means. Let us hope by pursuing this cause HVS/SEGA allow it to happen and give us Conduit faithful something to carry us over until Conduit 2 arrives. Every signature counts so be sure to spread this e-petition."

This basically means if they get 1,000 signatures, we get a multiplayer beta. If it does happen, I wonder how they will give it to us?

If you're interested, you can sign it here

Well this is quite impossible. They would need to distribute it through a disc, similar to the Monster Hunter Tri demo, which would be quite cost-intensive for relatively little benefit (though i'll grant that The Conduit could have benefited vastly from more extensive beta-testing of their multiplayer. Those black-screen load-ins were a big oversight)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Doesn't the Wii have a download size limit of 42mb? If so no

Really? I mean... the Conduit... Really?

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

it would be up to sega and their marketting department to decide if its a good investment.I think it worked for MH3 for some extent but Conduit 2 as great as it might be,its a smaller budget project, so pulling that would be too difficult. I dont think is up to HVS and i really dont think they could squeeze a demo of a pretty large FPS with good graphics like C2 to fit there. If it were a platformer, maybe. Some PS3 demos reach the gigas easily so it would be too difficult.I dont the wait is too long tho.

Well it couldn't hurt to try. I'm in.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

The beta wouldnt be free, assuming it will be distributed via download. Correct me if im worng (and its very possible that i am), but assuming th demo was DLC, and assuming SEGA/HVS wanted it to be free, then Nintendo would need to foot the bill due to bandwith costs right? Thats somthing i doubt will be happening, and so there would be a price tag on it.

how bout include a beta disk in a SEGA game releasing before Conduit 2? Tournament of Legends would have been perfect
