I don't know what to say. Maybe it's because we're so far into this generation and you're ready for the next big thing? I mean Gears is one of the biggest series in gaming and it's coming in less than a year. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is the sequel to one of gaming's most beloved franchises. Killzone 3 and Halo Reach are set to blow their respective audiences away. Limbo just released on XBLA and it's said to rival Braid as one of the best 2D games around. Metroid will be here in a few months for Wii owners. Kinect and Move are on the lips of gamers everywhere. I just don't know what to tell you. The good games are there. The good games are coming.
You know how it is when you see a girl you really like? You want her, you chase her, if you're lucky, you finally get her. It's the greatest moment of your life! And then all of a sudden, you sorta miss the chase. You start finding things wrong when really, there's nothing wrong and she's the same girl she always was? Well, that's what you're doing. You're getting everything you should need/want but you want to be challenged. You want something to chase. Just sit back and enjoy. Like you said, you're not bored. Play what you have and what's available, now. If you spend all of your time being wired up for the next big thing, then when the next big thing comes (like how the next big things are coming--we DID just have E3, didn't we?) you won't feel the excitement because you never came down from your high.
If you're drunk all the time, you can't appreciate a good drink. If every day is a sunny day, you won't appreciate a sunny day. Relax. Good times are 'a comin!
