Yea, to me, the funniest part of all the Apple hate, is it comes from people who don't own apple products.

I think it would be justified if people who spent money with Apple was pissed that they got ripped off, or that whatever they bought was not as good as they expected, but Apple customers are extremely satisfied with there purchases.

I mean look at the iPhone 4 issues and how that was all blown up. Apple said "hey, bring your phone back and we will give you a full refund. You can even get out of your contract with AT&T", and no one did.

Why all the hate for a product that all the people who paid for it love? Makes no sense.

It is to me about the most perplexing behaviour I see on the internet. Its like Apple is offensive to what you would call traditional computer geeks and they seem to be the most outspoken out of all groups on the internet. Though from what I have noted, this group does seem to be amongst the most arrogant in their tendency to want to foist their opinion on others in regards to technology. I suppose the hate comes from the fact that Apples sales figures prove they are being rightfully ignored.

If you can find a use for it, the iPad is pretty awesome. Personally, since I have an iPhone and a Macbook Pro (currently under my surgical knife, replacing parts from a water spill), it's completely redundant for me.

Glad to hear you enjoy it. I think Apple gets a bad rap around here because you look around and many other devices are less useful and nearly as expensive (the $379 Kindle DX comes to mind right off the bat).

Exactly, I have an ipAd Nano, which is a miniature ipAd.

I have nothing against it other than the price. The high starting price to buy it and having to pay for apps. Never in my life have I payed for anything beyond an OS for a computer... I am not willing to pay 5$ here for this 10$ here for that for things which i can do for free on a PC.

I haven't paid for any apps. There are a ton of free ones.
