If you can find a use for it, the iPad is pretty awesome. Personally, since I have an iPhone and a Macbook Pro (currently under my surgical knife, replacing parts from a water spill), it's completely redundant for me.
Glad to hear you enjoy it. I think Apple gets a bad rap around here because you look around and many other devices are less useful and nearly as expensive (the $379 Kindle DX comes to mind right off the bat).
