Lot of fatties here in the south, I'd say around 50%

Just for those of you who like statistics; keep in mind that this is Wikipedia and may not be entirely accurate, though it looks to be close to other statistics I've seen (that I'm too lazy to find).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_the_United_States

EDIT: And it looks like this data is a bit old now, but is probably good enough for a general idea.

EDIT 2: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/193321.php

Here's a more recent one, and the one that I was trying to find in the first place.

I've a high thyroid level. While insanely high, it's still within the "OK" region.

But basically, no matter what I do or eat, it feels like I can't gain any fat on my body.

At all.

But hey I'm not complaining.

One thing I'm curious to know is if we're so used to seeing fat people, that we don't recognize it. At what level is someone considered fat? They might be considered "normal/sexy" by their culture's standards, because it's what they're used to, but by other's standards they're fat.

So my question is, at what point is someone considered fat?

Please, look at my avatar I am not fat. Of course I'm from colorado the least fat of the states by far.

Yes. In "mini USA" people are getting fat.

Personally, I eat what I like (healthy but mixed diet) then as long as I put in the exercise I will never become fat.

Sounds like you have done it right. The more you workout the more you can eat, thats the sweetest thing about it.
