dude $50 difference is NOT going to drive sales that much.  For the average person its still 50 more bucks than a regular PS3 for Move.....and most people don't want Move.

250 =/= 300. though there's not many people waiting for a pricecut like last year, the entry price of 250 will steal some sales from the 360S 250gb.

I think no (reasonable) person expects a huge effect on sales, but a price cut like this will have at least a little effect.

As for "most people don't want Move": how do you know? Don't get me wrong, no one really knows, simply because non-gamers are unpredictable.

The $300 Natal bundle is still cheaper than that...are we forgetting about what was said about the $199 Arcade bundles?

Price is not everything. Just want to mention here, the PS3 outsold the 360 in EMEAA weekly even before the PS3 Slim was released or announced although the 360 was at 200€ and the PS3 was at 400€.

Of course we are talking about US prices here and for that... 360 would sell better in the US even if the price of the PS3 is 300$. If Sony can increase the sales at least a bit it will be alright for them.

i was kinda talking about bang for your buck bundle vs bundle $350 ps3 with a 120-160gb HDD and move is a better value than 360 4gb and kenict for $300 imo

the price difference is only $50 history shows that the PS3 had been able to outsell the 360 for the holidays with price difrences of $100-120 in 07 and 09

Ummm what about a PS3 with a 320gb hard drive PS move (camera, game, eye, wand) gran turismo 5 for $399. This bundle can counter the halo reach bundle. If they announce this i will buy it day one since i just sold my ps3 for $530.

Maybe ur right...time will tell how this shakes out.  M$ is going after a totally different aucience with Kinect then Sony with Move, it seems.
