Looks like simple core mechanics. The depth will probably be in how you use them.

Looks really uninspirtational. The 2D levels look boring, and the 3D levels remind me of some banjo kazooie level. It really looks pale, especially after you've played a platformer like SMG2, this really looks lame :S

What we've seen looks very average. However, the game is being made by Warren Spector. He is one of the only game designers to have never made a bad game, and made three of my absolute favourites (Wing Commander, System Shock and Deus Ex) so I have high hopes.
