I can understand anger over Blizzard taking out cool tricks like void ray fazing and burrowed casting without even testing how they affect balance (This pissed me off), but nerfing tanks when they clearly are too powerful against Z was to be expected and shouldn't be complained about. And Zeal pushes broke PvP so that nerf is also greatly justified.
Just to clarify my opinion.
I LOVE ICELAND!

I don't play online yet but I play against the insane computer and the MMM ball kills me everytimes, I've tryed collossi and high templar, zealot and immortals, dark templar, sentries and stalkers nothing works, I think the marauders are to cheap for the power they wield they should cost 50 gas more IMO, also I don't like the fact that the viking is the counter to every single protos air unit but I can deal with that, do you guys think the game is unbalanced??

I'm not too sure which "set pieces" you're talking about, but terran is ridiculously overpowered. The siege tanks are nasty, but its the ability to mass infantry and drop ships that really pisses me off. So many shitty players with no micro who just mass infantry and drop ships and walk through masses of enemy units and think they're awesome. You literally need to produce twice as many units as a decent terran player to beat them. It IS an unfair advantage. I play random, and terran is a joke.
I also find zerg units to be slightly underpowered, but you can get around that with expo's and macro.
I wish to hell they would bring back chat channels though. I like the ability to view the stats and all the channels they currently have, but one page should be chat channels. That was the whole point of Bnet back in the day, and it's fairly stupid that they removed it.

why is it that all the cool Terran tech is not available in MP game? are they waiting for all 3 games to be out?
I mean I liked the fire turrets and other neat little perks :x feels like such a waist to only be able to toy with them 10 mins.

Balance issues, Terran would be so terribly overpowered if they had access to the Science Vessel or that thing that slows down Zergs.

I second this. My problem mostly lays with the fact that it seems like they really tried to make something as amazing as SC1, but stopped just a little bit beforehand.
I would also like to add the fact that just because "SC2 is the best RTS in ages" doesn't really mean jack shit. This is the PC platform, and since I can still play RTSes from back around 2000, this has to be pitted against them and it just does not match up. Graphics and some minor changes (like the shooting off of cliffs and not being seen) are not even close enough to justify all the other letdowns.
Edit: 4v4 matchmaking with friends has existed since before SC2 as well, keep that in mind. It was part of WC3, so this isn't an SC2 thing.

See, they weren't that bad though. If you had the abilities to move your roaches while burrowed then they were easy as hell to annihilate. Instead of making Z a little more powerful in that, they just nerf everything. They have also nerfed all end units and put it on the basis that "it takes forever to get them." Well shit if it takes forever and costs arms and legs then there is your fucking balance. Also if each race has such "too powerful" units then why the hell don't you just balance them around instead of outright nerfing them with a pisspoor excuse?

Don't worry you will see them playable, in the next expansions. They wouldn't want to add all the cool and badass units right away in the first game. How else will they rob you of your money otherwise?
