Even the largest sites where people can download games, DOES NOT make up for weak sales.
Piracy is even more popular in Japan, yet the game is doing fine there. Some people cannot come to realize, the PSP is just not a software beast. It never was. It took too long for it to get its mojo going. Initially it was PS2 ports, at a time when PS2 was king. It set up a weak couple first years, weak first impressions, and thus momentum was killed.
The system is a great system, with some solid games, but Sony really made this thing with a lot of arrogance, assuming people would get it regardless of sticky square buttons.
The truth is Sony learned from that, and today is a better company for it. I am happy the PSP has poor software sales, cause now it means their next system will be better.
