Bond may be faltering on a return to the big screen but he's set to make an appearance in one blockbuster next year as leaks have revealed James Bond 007: Blood Stone, a new action game, is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC courtesy of Bizarre Creations. 

A mix of third-person gunplay, hand-to-hand combat and the driving action we usually associate with Project Gotham and Blur developers Bizarre, Blood Stone will employ key members behind the long-running series. 

Daniel Craig takes the lead – bringing with him the gruff physicality introduced in Casino Royale – and he's joined by Judi Dench and Devon's own Joss Stone. Stone will also be providing the soundtrack, with an original song penned by her and the Eurythmics Dave Stewart called 'I'll Take it All'. 

Multiplayer will also feature, with various modes supporting up to 16 players and pitching spies against mercenaries. 

The leaks come courtesy of a post on a Dave Stewart fan site, which has since been pulled but was spotted by the ever vigilantNeo Gaf. 

Meanwhile, work on the latest Bond film – which was to be directed by Sam Mendes – has been indefinitely suspended as a by-product of studio MGM's financial woes. But Bond's alive and well in the game world, with a reimagining of GoldenEye also coming to the Wii later this year. 

Activision has declined to comment on the leak. 

But one thing's for sure, it won't be as good as Golden Eye 007 on the Wii mainly because of Activision's partnership with Nintendo.

If the games are delayed for the movie we may actually see some good movie tie-ins if they use the extra dev time to polish the games that is.

Bizzare Creations is making it? Hmmm... i'm confident in the racing part but the shooting parts? fur fighters and the club were ok games.. not great..

Joss Stone is providing the soundtrack, just awesome! I hope this leads to another movie.

I will never forgive MGM for delaying the next film. At this rate, Daniel Craig has been the star of more James Bonds games than films. That is sad considering how good he is at playing the part.

007 website says it's coming on the Wii too

Maybe it's a mistake, maybe it's not.

So they named a game after the "You can't get blood from a stone" saying?  Not very creative.

They should have just pretended that it was one of the movies and named it something like Today Is Better Than Tomorrow So It's Another Day To Die Finger.
