Have you ever seen something that if you told no one would believe you? I don't do any drugs, I drink beer maybe twice a month at the most and it's only one or two since i'm always the DD but I have seen and heard some shit that is just odd. I'm not talking about vamps or wolves but things that would make you go "wtf was that?". My gf and live in a house and at this time we had no neighbors, we were going to bed and out of nowhere I hear this music that sounded like it could have been from the 1950's, so thinking I was just cracking up I said to my gf  "I think i'm losing my fucking my mind because I just heard the oddest thing" she turns around and says "the old time music?' at the moment my balls jumped in my throat and I refused to sleep the rest of the night (I ended up playing Dead Space all night, which really didn't help lol). So have any of you had any wierd things happen?  COme to find out that the town I live in had a rush of some plague that killed a great deal of the reisdents (yellow fever of something like that). This is by no means a joke thread, most of you seem really mauture so if you have seen or heard and odd thing or two post it so I know I'm not losing my fucking mind lol.

Why is someone driving by your house with their radio on an odd thing?

I lived in the most creepy house ever with my ex girlfriend, some freaky stuff happened while we lived there. Music was just one of the incidents that occurred frequently. I'll flesh out the story some more when I get back from work!

Since typing on walls is a pain in the ass, I'm just going to continue this here.

In response I asked is it better to take everything at face value or try to look at it from another angle?

I like to question things so of course I'm going to question odd things. 

I grew up on a farm too and our driveway was probably about 100 yeards long (around the length of a football field) and we have no neighbors what-so-ever.  I know what the country sounds like at night.  It's quiet and you can hear every little thing.

So knowing that, I have someone who oddly hears 1950's music and two things pop up: it could be some sort of ghostly event or it could be someone driving by with their radio on.

I'm not saying I don't believe in ghosts or odd things can happen, I actually do believe there are things far beyond our understanding out there, just in this case, I firmly believe it's someone driving by with their radio on.

You may not have neighbors but I assume there's still a road connecting your house to civilization and people drive on that road.  I've heard people drive by my parents house countless times and sometimes people have their radio turned up loud and you can hear it.

Sure, you could have experienced some sort of odd event, but it's much more likely someone had their radio blaring loud.

Deliverance anyone? Was it banjo music?

Really though it was probably some late night drunks, stoners or tweakers.

The mind is a powerful thing that can convince itself of almost anything.

Yes a few times, paranormal experiences.

Maybe you have a Jumanji board in a basement, or something.

I've heard someone else whistling a tune in a building where I was alone.
