Read #2 on 'general cleaning tips' http://www.wikihow.com/Clean-the-Inside-of-a-Computer Read warnings. http://www.wiscocomputing.com/articles/maintenance.htm Look for header talking about using vacuums http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-11319_7-6240575-6.html 2nd paragraph http://www.smartcomputing.com/editorial/article.asp?article=articles/2009/s2010/34s10/34s10.asp Almost half way down page in 'the case' section http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/263185-28-vaccum-clean-computer forum of smart people Sure you'll find sites where people say they do it all the time, but it makes perfect sense when you think about it. Vacuums create static electricity and that static electricity can destroy the components. I can of air is not expensive and does a really good job.
