Wait wait.. how do we know for sure it's not coming?? I haven't read anything to say for sure it wouldn't..

Goddamn it anyway. Figures that my two most anticipated Wii games, Zangeki and ToG, would not be localized..

Zangeki's been strongly rumored to get an EU release at least.   Between that and NPC Pikmin 2, I think I'm going to have to start importing...

Same here.. I thought Wii was region locked though?

It is.  Are there any region freeing solutions other than HBC? :(

 What is this HBC?

Homebrew Channel

Hmm yeah I'd like to not resort to homebrew if I can help it. I noticed there is some software called "wii freeloader" but I heard the newest Wii firmware upgrade blocks it..

Dammit Nintendo, why couldn't you just make your console region free like the DS!

Yes, the freeloader was blocked a while ago by one of the firmware updates. As of now the Homebrew Channel is your only option (unless you haven't updated you Wii since 3.1). I'm surprised a lot of people are wary of the Homebrew Channel like it's some kind of double-edged sword, it's very convenient and i can assure you that the risks are minimal, i can't recommend it enough. The entire Hackmii package (Homebrew Channel, Bootmii, DVDx) is actually healthy for your Wii, and you are far more safe with Team Twiizers systems installed then without. If near full control and a virtually unbrickable Wii isn't enough there are numerous applications to further justify the installation, including some that act as freeloaders, allowing games of other regions to be played on your Wii.

In regards to the topic, i'm content with the knowledge that reliable, competent translators are working on Tales of Graces. Namco-Bandai can burn in hell as far as i'm concerned.

How long has this project been underway? The progress report suggests that they've been working on the game for a small while. Either that or they're just really fast.

How technical is your game?

well i remeember some of the members talking about it on gamefaqs a few months back and that they were waiting till after e3 to fully invest time into it.

Still i cant wait though itll probably be the middle of next ear before there done

Since we know ToG isn't coming, there's a translation patch being made by the same guys that made the Fatal Frame IV translation patch. They've already made some progress.

Same two games I really want.  Even though it got bad reviews, I still want to play Disaster: Day of Crisis too.

I might resort to homebrew channel.. There are already games like NPC Pikmin 2, Disaster, and Fatal Frame 4 that I want to play. Now it looks like Zangeki and ToG can potentially be added to that list.

I'm just not sure I trust a homebrew channel as I've head you can't upgrade your Wii firmware anymore and it could cause problems for the hardware. I just want to be sure Nintendo won't cut off my online Wii support or something if I use it when trying to update. But it sounds like it's pretty solid so I might have to consider it, especially if the stuff I mentioned doesn't get localized..

Great news.Still hoping that Namco localizes the game in the west. But if not then this would be my first imported game..

Thanks for the update Soriku

Awesome, looks like I might have a reason to use my DS.
