Well I have an suggestion because of blehFucktards

1. To give the mods (us) the option to delete topics insted of locking or editing (I do like editing his posts though).

 2. Give us the option to delete posts

3. To get the reporting thing to work.

4. To give new users post restrictions for atleast there first couple of days

PS: If I missed any of his topics please tell me! I will close his topics.

To be honest, I don't like that you edit all the bad posts...it sometimes seems a bit overboard....mainly because I get confused, like what did blehFucktards1 actually say?  I don't know, because now he just says "VGChartz rocks!" or something like that.

That's just my opinion though.  I don't know about post restriction either... 

Well I had to do something, I wasnt just gunna leave that post. He posted "NextgenWars never said they were 100% right you ****tards"

 I usually copy all the bad posts before I delete them or edit them for proof.

I'll agree with roadkillers that it would be nice to rid the forums of those stupid posts.

4. no. that is just a pain in the brown peep hole. I joined the forums at nintendo and hated their promotion system that limits all kinds of stuff. It really breaks the warm and fuzzies of joining a forum site.

Also, I agree with benkenobi88, should edit posts. It would be better to delete them. 

 I am a developer and work a lot with databases, what does this site use? If you would like I could help out in my spare time, all I would need is exact requests of what you would like to be done / queried / created / etc.

I don't really think the deleting option is necessary, especially since we have the edit ability. If someone posts something obscene, we can always edit the post to explain what the original post was about. I agree it would be great if the report post was up and running, but we can always be PM'd.

At the very least you need some kind of anti-spam measure, it's way too easy to sign up for an account here and post 100 times in 10 minutes.

Sure, but that hasn't happened yet. There have been one or two spammers, but they've been banned wthin one or two posts. There will always be ways for people to exploit the freedom that a forum brings, but so far I think there are enough of us usermods that theres always someone around to keep things tidy. I think things have run pretty darn smooth for a videogame forum.

Or you could change certain swear words with a swear filter... Like the word 'cunt' to 'front bottom' that may help, certainly less offensive. Some you could put in as a alternative could be quite funny too!
