Forums - Sales - Americas Pre-order Chart (10th July, 2010)

Good point:P And I don't think they would ever buy a PS3 so...360 it is!

come on golden sun!!!

Wow, I'm really hoping that GT5-preorders hit big. The PS3 needs a sales heavy weight to balance out sales with the competition. The highest right now is MW2, which is a multiplat. I'm predicting GT5 sales to be around 8.5 to 9 million lifetime. You can quote me on that.

Thats a very reasonable sale prediction (I think it will sell about that myself)  Much better then the 15/20 million predictions

I think GT5 numbers are very low...whats going on?

Well this is just the Americas.

GT3 sold 7 million in this region. While GT4 only sold 2.8 million. GT5P sold 1 million. GT PSP sold 0.34.

15-20 million?! That's pretty crazy. The only way I see those numbers ever passing was if it was called Gran Mario Kart Turismo for the Wii and PS3.

Thanks. I was wondering because I am very interested too see how much XIV goes up in the next 2 weeks. I know this isn't much to go by but it is #1 on Gamestops best sellers list. Which didn't even happen when we got the release date.

I'm thinking it got a good boost.
