Ouch, you have a 30 day warranty to exchange yes?

Sent it to MS, you can't exchange what's out of stock. Plus I was moving from Virginia to South Carolina. I didn't have time to wait for them to get more in stock for an exchange. I'm suffering form SERIOUS, Super Street Fighter IV withdrawals. I've gotten close to buying the PS3 version a couple of times but since I need to replace my PS3 arcade stick. I'll just wait.

Amazing, the quiteness, in built wifi, touch buttons and bigger HD (which is already coming in handy) are fantastic.

But the acutally look of the console ... it's easily the sexiest console released this gen.

360 Slim > PS3 phat (in white ) > 360 phat > Wii > PS3 slim IMO

love it.. some things like the touch sensitive buttons take getting used to but the "ping" sounds when you touch them bring some kinda sad delight...

one thing for sure is that large vent spits out hot air and feels quite toasty.. compared to the jasper which barely even feels warm

still got my old elite .. was gonna have a 360 for downstairs and old elite for upstairs in bedroom but I feel like wanting to trade in the old elite for another 360 S.. but my LCD TV just died on me and thats not even 4 years old >__>  

thinking about fixing it and picking up a plasma perhaps.. but grrrrr the quarterly utility bills have just come...

Yeah I agree 100%, when you actually look at it out of the box, it looks very different to what you'd expect .. well it did for me anyway (in a good way!)

I got mine from Gamestop last Saturday. Traded in my Core  launch console with a dead DVD drive  and one controller. They took it for $100 minus $30 for refurb fee. Also traded in some accesories: $30 for 20gig HDD, 3 controllers @25 each ($75)

Some guy in front of me actually tried to buy my reserved console. He saw it behind the counter. I smiled when I saw the disappointment on his face.. hahaha..

Right now it's sitting on the corner of my TV stand like a dirty little whore, dust all over it's body, teasing me to play with it.

If anyone is looking for a 360S in the Northern VA area.. there are 2 of them at the Target near Potomac Mills Mall. I saw them yesterday.

The 360S controller makes the Elite controller look cheap

any one of ya'll no where the intake and exhaust vents are on it while standing it up are the vents on the top the intake? and the others near the bottom the exhaust? just take a tissue paper and put it near each vent to see which intakes and exhausts if you new owners can do it that for me
