Sony's press conference was uneventuful as all hell and NOTHING important was announced at all, so why is it a half a point away from Nintendo's which is being hailed as the best E3 press conference of all time. Oh GI with your Nintendo hate and your fanboyism. You make me laugh at you so.

Nothing important?

-PSN plus was announced

-Move was priced, given a launch date and new titles were shown for it.

-New games; Heroes, Twisted Metal were announced.

-GT5 was given a launch date.

-Portal 2 was announced for PS3.

-Bonus DLC/content announced for Mafia 2, Dead Space 2, Assassins Creed Brotherhood.

I don't really care how any publication scores a press conference, but looking at Sony's E3 conference from a gamers perspective i don't understand how you can say 'nothing' important was announced for it, when clearly, plenty was.

As for Nintendo's conference, hailed by who? the internet? this forum? another publication giving lettered scoring?

I really don't see already announced games as important, the biggest thing about Sony's conference was actually steamworks on PS3, as for PSN Plus it was already announced just no info about the service given, GT5 has had multiple launch dates announced.

I think most people are bothered that many things were already known about, gamers want new announcements, the few new game announcements I can think of are Heroes on the Move and a few other move titles, Twisted Metal and the rest were known about beforehand, it didn't help that Twisted Metal looked like ass being played either, one of the things about stage performance is start strong and finish strong and Sony started off with Glasses 3D tech and finished with Twisted Metal that was obviously an alpha or beta build so they might have done better to make a trailer.

Nd Gt had one release date announced earlier which was postponed, not multiple...and we didn't know about Twisted Metal, it was all speculation..and if you think an open world game which enables anything and everything to be destroyed look like ass you need new glasses...TM was never about the gfx, there are plenty of other games that does that well, NO TM fan expected it to be a graphical powerhouse

LOL yeah we knew about 3DS and Zelda but knew nothing of Kirby Epic Yarn, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mario Kart 3DS, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D (which btw we even had a thread on "Kojimas secret project" that not a single person guessed right so that was a well kept secret) I mean there's just a crap load of good games that no one knew anything about, to try to dismiss Nintendo conference because of two things is just silly and you're just trying to be an ass to "counter my point"

Look Twisted Metal looked like ass because of things like poor collision reaction, he was flying a helicopter into a building and instead of having an animation for being destroyed or him bouncing off the building the building simply disappeared and what was left was a rubble model, that would have looked really bad for any game.  As for Twisted Metal fans, I love car combat games, one of my favorite genres in fact, but the key word is CAR combat the fact that Jaffe took liberties and added helicopters to a car combat game sort of scares me and puts me off.

Your just reaching for straws here...let me say this in capital letters so you can get it...TWISTED METAL NOT GRAND TURISMO...it's a game made for chaos and mayham which is what combat games are about...sorry if I was busy looking at the patient carrying a bomb explode rather than the particle physics of a building..you say you love car combat games but doesn't sound like you do :S have you even played these games?

Spin w/e you want...Sony had a low phased yet good E3, Ninty had the best hands down and no one including me is denying that...they announced next to nothing leading up to E3...however going by your logic we should dismiss two of their most discussed showings, the 3ds AND zelda skyward sword....your bias against SOny is apparent every day...so stop arguing for the sake of arguing, rather silly
