Notice there's a prompt telling you to use the pad motion to roll your bomb. That's a great idea but, what if I wanna throw my bomb? Will I get a prompt correcting me & showing me how to roll it or will my overhead swinging motion throw the bomb? If it'll throw it, I'm good. But if they use Motion plus for new gimmicks while cancelling out other stuff we could do before, well, that's what I'm afraid of.

Motionplus should even give me the option of flinging my bombs backward. Wouldn't that be great if I'm being chased when riding my horse? In the trailer, I noticed the whip returned immediately after it was used. I hope it isn't a 'jerk wiimote to use whip' thing. I hope the whip responds to all my flicks so that I can flog someone multiple times before pulling back the whip. I wish someone that played the E3 demoes can calm my paranoia!

Think Wii Sports Resort. If you want to roll the bomb, you bowl a strike. If you want to throw the bomb, you sink the three-pointer.

They showed bomb throwing in some of the E3 videos. I doubt you'll be able to throw them backwards, but the difference between a roll and a throw will probably be the difference between an underarm swing and an overhead swing.

Edit: Oh hello Stephen Totilo. Why don't you demonstrate how to throw or roll a bomb around 1:30 in this video.

So you can both throw and roll the bomb. 

I can't remember if the same tutorial like message came up for throwing it, but basically link is holding the bomb differently if you have the controller in a roll or throw position (pointing down or pointing up).

So don't panic rolling bombs and throwing them was great especially rolling, because in one case I rolled a bomb near a plant monster (name escapes me if someone wants to mention it) and it swung to the right and picked it up. This obviously made me smile as I ran around waiting for the bomb to explode. I dont think they have plant monster dentist, so it was screwed :)

I don't understand your worry but they demonstrated both bomb throwing and bomb rolling on stage during the E3 press conference.

What would be scary is if the monster roll the bomb back at ya.
