DS FTW, haven't been able to put it off since I bought mine in April

April 2010? I predict you will not be able to put your DS down for a whole year if you're just starting out. There are too many RPGs on it, some you'll like, some you won't, the only way to find out is to play them all.

Trust me, i've played my way through at least 8 full RPG's and a full pokemon game in this past few months

Here's a list:
Mario&Luigi - Partners in Time
Mario&Luigi - Bowser's Inside Story
Megaman Starforce 3: Black Ace
Dragon Quest IV
Dragon Quest V
Lunar Knights
Final Fantasy IV
Pokemon Soul Silver

Oh, and all three Castlevania games, Elite Beat Agents, Kirby's Superstar Ultra and New Super Mario Bros.

That is a mighty fine list, how long did it take you to beat Partners in Time? I'm about 12 hours into it and I'm starting to lose interest, which is a shame becuase I love the battle system but there's something about the game that doesn't have me hooked like the original Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga.

Partners in time is the worst of the Mario&Luigi trilogy, I was getting bored halfway through it. Pretty much, the shrooms are very uninspired villains. Thankfully, there was Yoob to salvage some bit of goodness to the story.

It took me 22-23 hours to finish it. Bowser's Inside Story took me a bit more, around the 30 hours mark.

Seriously? When M&L2 was my only DS game alongside Mario Kart DS I made speed runs on it and my best time is 12 hours without missing a enemy in an area

I usually take my time with RPGs, do some levelling (I took some time reseting in M&L2 too, since I always tried to get at least 3 for each stat in level up, got to a time where I would get them always due to timing).

I'll probably start it the day it comes in from Amazon. I don't feel like I'm getting anywhere in SoulSilver atm.

Anyone else interested in that cel-shaded Final Fantasy game coming at the end of this year? Nice seeing an original Final Fantasy game come down the pipeline.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

Absolutely!  Cel-Shaded is my favorite RPG style, plus it being a Final Fantasy game (that looks good) is even better.

@Robo:  If I am done with P3P by the time DQIX is out, I will be swapping time between that and Sands of Destruction.    Tho P3P gets priority.
