They should put a warning stating that the rules in the game are free of human error and that outdated FIFA rules do not apply to this game (hello Uruguay's hand ball with one game suspension and elimination of the real winner!)

WTF?! Ghana would be the real winner IF they had shot the penalty right! Suarez was Uruguay's hero and, in the first (and possibly last) time in football history, an expulsion is considered good for one's own team.

If Ghana hadn't freaked out, they woud win. They lost their chance and the semi-final spot. Uruguay deserved to be the winner after the game. You guys just don't accept this because it's an african country who was eliminated. I bet that if it was something like New Zealand, no one other than New Zealanders would be complaining about this.

Well, shit, maybe we should let everyone use their hands in soccer while we're at it! Ghana didn't lose a chance, Ghana was taken its right to be in the semifinal by a player that decided to say "screw the ethics of soccer, let's use the forbidden part of the body for the better of my own personal gain."

If that had happened to Brazil, Germany, Argentina, or other team I would be just as pissed. Funny how you think a penalty kick, WHICH can be missed as it was shown in the game, is a perfect substitution for what was to be a legit goal.  But hey! No big deal! Ethics in soccer doesn't matter, right?!?! Sportmanship in soccer is way dead.

Oh, and to Solid, here's FIFA's ruling stating that they decided the fate of Suarez.  Oh man, oh man!

P.S. My favorite quote on the article

"Suarez, who has three goals in the tournament, said it was "complicated" to be ejected from a World Cup game.

"But the way in which I was sent off — truth is, it was worth it."

Oh man, this guy is so full of himself right now! Look what I found in another interview

"Uruguay striker Luis Suarez has claimed "the 'Hand Of God' now belongs to me" after he broke Ghana's hearts and helped his side reach the World Cup semi-finals."

Fact: Suarez won the game for Uruguay. Again, you're just complaining because it was Ghana and not New Zealand. He was punished and will be punished more later, but Ghana lost the game because they didn't have emotional control when penalty kicking. Is it right (etically talking) to avoid a goal by putting your hand on the ball? Yes, but there are no rules that it should be considered a goal instead of a penalty.

Uruguay deserved to win the game after Ghana has lost their chance in extra time, and they did. Football is like this: not always the team which had more chances win. Stop complaining and accept the fact Ghana lost because of their own incompetence.

Oh, I'm in complete agreement that sometimes teams with the most opportunities to win don't. That's just the way sports are. The difference here is that a goal to be was taken away from Ghana. You don't wanna see it that way for some reason. And your lame excuse that "people think that way" is because its just Ghana. Well then, you probably just think like this because you like Uruguay!! That doesn't stop the fact that 1)Suarez is one of the biggest cheaters in the world, 2)Ethics in soccer is dead, 3)Substitution of a real goal for a 50/50 chance of scoring one is not the same. In this case, the punishment did not the fit the crime, and the criminal got away with it.

Before stating anything, I say: I wasn't supporting anyone in this game; whoever made through it would have my support against the Netherlands.

But I'll go against you:

1. Yeah, Suarez is a cheater: FACT. He cheated to save HIS team, therefore doing what was right (not for the game, but for Uruguay);

2. If ethics in football was dead, he wouldn't receive a red card AND be investigated by FIFA to receive a greater punishment;

3. It would be a near 100% chance IF Gyan had control at that moment (something most african team still don't have). He wouldn't be at nerve after the occured and would kick the penalty like it was only one more. Any GOOD player wouldn't kick the ball at the crossbar. One thing is to kick and the goalkeeper catch (if this happened, I'd be pissed off as well), the other is to make this your sole mistake and kick wrong.

Even if I supported Ghana and hated Uruguay the most at this game, I wouldn't be complaining as you are now. Suarez did a master's move and won the game for his country and for Ghana, unfortunately, it wasn't this time they reached far in the World Cup.

Bolded in black translation: It is ok to cheat for a country and forget what makes sports so great; sportmanship. Definitely a "master" move! So what's next? I say stop the anti-doping rules. They are pointless and does not give an edge to a player.

The free kick leading to the ball going into the box shouldn't have been given anyway, plus one of the Ghanaians was offside, so justice was done.

Ethics in football died years ago.  I still blame Jurgen Klinsmann, introducing diving into British football.
