All I know is i got a DS but will probably not get a 3DS.  i probably would have shit my pants for a 3DS a few years back but now I have an iphone and i just don't care about any other portable gaming platform. 

3D is awesome for sure but portable gaming is about one thing to me...portablilty.  my iphone has a ton of it and the ds/psp do not.

No... To be honest I see the 3.D.S as more of a P.S.P or 360... A gamers handheld. They have huge "Core" games coming and yes there is a lot of them but not much for the casual crowd has been seen at least not yet. The 3.D.S is probably going to go down as one of the best systems of all time but not sales wise...

3.D.S = N.64, P.S.P, 360 Not P.S.2, D.S, Wii

That is how I see it at least.

3D camera/viewer/movie player will be more blue ocean than Brain Training and Nintendogs combined.

DS is to 3DS as PS is to PS2. ;)
