Do you think the UK will become a bigger gaming market then Japan?

Yes 20 27.40%

No 42 57.53%

Maybe 10 13.70%

Total:72

I noticed its in a pretty close 4th place right now for the gaming market.

So who thinks it could eventually overtake Japan for gaming sales? (I'm leaning towards maybe right now)

Also if it did pass Japan for gaming sales would Vgchartz use that as their 3rd region?  for example- Americas/EMEAA/UK

This topic has floated around this forum a few times before.

There were some good reasons why Japan should remain the third region, the top one being that it has it's own games.

If "UK only" games started being released then I'll reconsider.

With twice the population and economy of the UK, Japan should by some distance ahead so there is no denying that the UK is pushing well above it's weight.

It's possible, but it wouldn't be seperate on VGChartz as here in the U.K.

I think Europe should be seperate though

i think if anything europe should be its own and japan should be part of others. But then again like it was said there are many exclusive japanese games. Not so many excuslive european games.

If you separate UK from Others, just combine them with NA. They buy the same games.

If they make more babies then sure.
