A word of warning fellow members this thread is a trap. Not only is this goal reasonable, but it is also fairly likely. The goal alone is reachable via logical progression. The install base has greatly increased which decreases the sell through, and it increases the potential audience. The series review scores have improved over time, and they were pretty good to begin with. The sales of titles in the series has increased over time. Any one of these things gets Molyneaux to his goal, but all three together. Seriously how hard is it going to be for him to sell one out of eight 360 owners on this game alone. A successor to a game that was actually quite popular with players as a whole.
That all said just in development this game has a lot going for itself. We have a game in a established series. A game that can be developed off of an existing core. A series which has improved over time. Plus a game that is going to stride a new peripheral. Then you have that incredibly strong simulation market that just eats the market in gulps. Combine that with a action oriented base, and you really have something potent.
That all said have we even seen this game in the wild? I mean a lot of you aren't even making rough assumptions on the given track record of the series, and its sales potential. For all you know this could be an astounding title. Hell it isn't even as if the series isn't known for being innovative. We just have small pieces to work with. The complete product could be something real good.
