I could do everything but write the long-ass reports that The Source writes.  My report would be:

Here's the damn numbers.  Figure it out yourself.

Everything else, I'd be good at.

You got it all wrong, you're supposed to high ball them first!  You should have started with seven figures so you could work your way down to six.

I've been working for 8 years as a Web developper but I'm not sure exactly what kind of article we're talking about here. Could you link us to some VGChartz articles that are similar to what you're looking for?

Signature goes here!

Only if you count both sides of the decimal.

Wouldn't it be a smart idea to give us a subject so the interested could write a test-article. imo it would be the best way to see if somebody really has enough quality to start writing. I've been writing articles for a small university paper. I started as a reviewer but  I couldn't take the games home any more so I quit reviewing, still did some analyses on the game industry (specifically on the Dutch market) before quitting all together because I moved over to a different university. I know I'm a pretty good writer and an equated analyser, but I don't know if my English is really up to par to start writing professionally.

I was actually invited once to the review team here on vgchartz, but I got in a fight about that with the main editor of the university paper, because we got games early I wasn't permitted to write for an other source according to him. That was shortly before not letting me take the games home any more. After that I lost the motivation to write for vgchartz, which I'm still regretting.
