Forums - Nintendo - DQ IX commerical of...what is this I don't even?

I remember the old Dragon Warrior ads. Unfortunately those mostly appealed to D&D players, and that crowd not only isn't that big, they tend to prefer their kind of roleplaying to game roleplaying.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

Pure shit. Looked like some preteen BS marketing.

Well if they made the game a hit over here, it would still be a hit. And that's less money to buy Jonas Brothers albums.

I don't know who Jonas Bros is.

What's with all the pissing and moaning?  It was a pretty entertaining commercial, plus, Seth Green?  That's like the first time Nintendo's had a celebrity to hock their wares since Ken Griffey Jr was actually attached to their SNES baseball game.

One thing Nintendo has always been guilty of was under-advertising their games, if they promoted them at all.  When they actually put money behind promoting their products, that's a good thing.

Amazing tv ad, this game will be a hit ...

I saw this commercial at the movie theatre waiting for Avatar: The Last Airbender to start and I stood up and yelled: HOLY CRAP NINTENDO!

Some fucker behind me said, "grow up" and I told him that I didn't want to and that I won't talk during the movie. The lady a few seats down from me laughed.
