SSX 3 >>>>>>>>>>> any other sports game to this day.
Must have GameCube titles:
Zelda: The Wind Waker
Zelda: Twilight Princess (if you have a Wii, get it on that)
Resident Evil Remake
Resident Evil 2 (it's very aged but the best in the RE series)
That's all, really.
Top 3 favorite games: Super Mario Galaxy, The Sims 2 (PC), The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Hey! No... No... You go march down to the store right now and buy Super Mario Sunshine! Right now! Ha, ha!

That's all? Have you really played any of these? Ikaruga - I bought this for $22 after hearing repeatedly it was one of the best games no one bought. I agree. Alien hominid (Oddest game derived from a flash pc game.. if you like Contra you will LOVE this) Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Beyond Good & Evil Killer 7
Is it just me, or is there only one mention for Rogue Squadron II in this thread so far? Easily one of the best games last gen to me. To a lesser extent I'd suggest Rogue Squadron III. The flight missions are fun, but the other stuff is pretty lame. A cool thing about RSIII is that you can play RSII co-op(yet not single player oddly enough).
If you can find it I'd also suggest Cubivore. One of the most unique gaming experiences I've ever had, but your shunning Sunshine leads me to believe you probably wouldn't give this game the chance. Doshin the Giant is also a fun and strange little game, but you'd have to import it unless you live in Japan or Europe.
Even though it's already been mentioned, I'll toss in another mention for Killer 7. And in my opinion, the first Metroid Prime is superior to Prime 3. I'm not one of those guys that always says earlier games in a series are always better, but Metroid has always been about atmosphere, and Prime 1 trumps Prime 3 easily in this respect.
"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."
Prime 1 has awesome atmosphere throughout, but Prime 3 does have some truly awesome moments. Specifically, the first time you explore the wrecked frigate, and running up and down the confusing hallways in the Metroid research area in Skytown. Yipes!
Ok, so to summarzie what I think I will get to complete my collection:
Rogue Squadron II
Killer 7
Beyond Good and Evil
Skies of Arcadia
Ikaruga (has me intigued now...)
RE0
RE Remake (I played the original, but not having to see the zombies would really make this much les scary....)
Might get:
MP1
MP2 (both depending on how i like MP3)
Paper Mario: doors
SSX3
Prince of Persia: I already have the third one (forgot to mention), but heard the first is much better - might get it if less than 25 Euros.
My problem is that the games are still expensive. Had to pay almost 50 Euros to get Tales of Symphonia. So might take some time to search for deals.
