Because I thought the same till I played DQV.


DQ games generally play the same, but meh.

DQV is awesome for its epic story full of charm, nostalgia and some amazing choices you can make.

From what I've heard DQ8 had the weakest story out of all of them, maybe thats why wagram liked it even less

But DQV's story was amazing.

Grah, I really never liked DQV's story...  It was good, but not anything special and it doesn't stand up with the majority of the series, in my opinion.  The gameplay was also pretty unbalanced, even on the DS version.  It just never felt like a Dragon Quest game... it felt like an imitation... a very horribly linear imitation.

DQVIII on the other hand is amazing in just about every way (especially in terms of story).  I don't know where you heard this bit about DQVIII having the weakest story, but it is all just opinion anyway.

I liked DQIV's story and structure more than DQV.  I still love both games though.

From what I've been told, DQIX is basically a WRPG in Toriyama clothing.  At least post-game.

well ofc. Yup reach will defenitly flop only americans like halo. Its not like halo 3 outsold every single ps3 exclusive in others to date. O wait it did, and thats odd there are more ps3s in others then 360s, especially considering lol 60% of 360 sales are repurchases. Dam this is strange. Nah im sure only americans like halo.

Thats actually very good cus FPS aren't big in that region. Guess GT5 will take the title from it, can't see any other HD exclusive topping it after that

Soon to be outsold by 2x by GT5 in that region.

Lets wait and see how Reach performs in the region.
