Forums - Nintendo - Will Goldeneye 007 settle the old question?

One of the old talking points that seems to come up in the whole "Wiimote vs Dual Analogue for FPS" debate was "Wiimote/dual analogue users would get smoked if they had to go up against it."

Goldeneye 007 will provide that opportunity though, won't it? Competitive online multiplayer with the Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro up against the Wii remote.

It's something worth considering, at least.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Depends if there are handicaps. If there are no handicaps then yess Wiiremote would win. If there are handicaps, then we will see.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

This is assuming the Wiimote controls are fully optimized. A shoehorn version wont cut it. Dual analgoe is much, much better than, say, Red Steel 1.Yet Red Steel 2 blows analogoe out of the water.

depends on how much auto aim is there.

I don't know... I honestly don't think this will have enough of a community or be good enough to settle anything.

Its going to be tough for Activision to capture N64s Goldeneye 007 without any source code or developers involved with the original. Not to mention that Eurocom is doing the game development...lol

Thats like taking a classic Led Zeppelin song and giving it to Three Days Grace to cover...

Reports say that it has the customization of The Conduit (i.e. the only great feature that game had).

No, that's a false analogy, because song artists are actually known among music fans. Development studios are not.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

retro did pointer great in corruption but for some reason the multiplayer in the collection just felt weird. Just got to wait and play i guess. :)

No, it won't.

It's going to be like the old question "does skill play a role in Mario Kart Wii"? The side who makes the ridiculous claim will deny to play against the other side to keep up the status quo.

Or the other age old question "Why isn't samus in a mario kart game?"
