Tailoy Swift doesn't fail against Lennon because she's a woman, she fails for the same reason Justin Bieber fails against Madonna.

Seriously though, if you live in the US, there's barely any reason to hate football (soccer). It's not very popular so you can't say it's being crammed down your throat by the media and people around you. You can simply not give a damn and that state would rarely be disturbed. I'm indifferent to it most of the time, just not right now with the WC going on. I'm also indifferent to Taylor Swift most of the time since I'm rarely subjected to her music, videos and others' praising odes.

No. If he was supporting his opinion with valid arguments, then there would be nothing to complain about.

"Soccer is for girls and kids" is not a valid argument.

Like kowenicki already said, he's obviously just trying to cause a ruckus. While I wouldn't go as far as banning the OP, I would lock the thread.

It's my opinion. In the US, thats what it seems to be played by.. I'm simply stating my unbiased observations.

I'm not poor and I love McDonalds. lol It is cheap, maybe thats why McDonalds supports soccer cause its cheap and nobody likes it?

We don't need such close minded and ignorant people here. It's fine to not like football, but you are just trolling in every of your posts.

Funny enough you behave like a little child, so I guess football is for the grown ups then.

Good for your girlfriend. She's willing to play a sport not invented by her own country.

Again, I bring up the McDonalds analogy. It's eaten by poor people. It's not poor person food.

Basketball does require a lot of skill. So does Ice Hockey. So does Football. So do Tennis, American Football, Rugby, Field Hockey, Athletics, Curling, Skiing...........

I agree with you.. It's a girls game and a chidlrens game in the U.S... Takes almost as much skill as hop skotch.




That is such a horrible word. Yet, people wont call people out who use words like this. I think people here need to stop thinking outside the cliques they have with each other and stop being biased towards other members. Just because I think soccer doesn't require talent or is a girls game doesn't make me stupid.

No, it makes you ignorant. Which is far worse, because stupidity is something you're born with, while ignorance is something you choose.

Look, it's fine for you to have an opinion, if you justify that opinion. You can't just say "SOCCER SUCKS TAYLOR SWIFT ROCKS AND I HATE YOU ALL AND I CAN HAVE AN OPINION LALALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!", without people looking down on you.

Again, try playing football, and tell me if it's as simple as kicking a ball across a field. And if it's a girl's game, why is it the most popular sport among men in 90% of the countries of the world?

Your attitude gives a bad name to Americans, because it's the stereotypical American "everything we do is awesome" attitude which I know most people from the USA don't hold. It's fine if you don't like football. Saying it requires no skill is asinine. It's fine if you like Taylor Swift. Saying she is better than the Beatles is asinine. You'd better have some evidence if you want your opinion to be taken seriously.

And for the record, I don't even particularly like football. It's more violent than it has any right to be, and nothing of any interest happens in about 80% of each football match (especially between lousy teams). I really only find it watchable if two fantastic teams are playing, or if a fantastic team is playing a lousy team, or alternatively if I am actively supporting one of the teams. But I don't pretend that it requires no skill. It requires just as much skill as any sport.


I don't hate any of you! OMG no. I just think some people need to stop being so biased because my tastes are so different from their own. You see now?

 

I have played soccer. It's so not fun and was super easy.

but if you don't outside it is extremly popular, so it annoys... a lot

Its because he is trolling, he is lying and I certainly think those arguments he makes are to provoque, I doubt someone could actually claim football doesnt require talent, his responses dont give arguments either.

And I really doubt Ecuatorian teams only allow black people in their teams, I think its a lie, you should provide a link.
