Nice input. However, it would be better if they compared apples to apples in relation to the Wiimote. Noone would argue that Move's fidelity is noticeably better than the Wiimote alone, however, it really should include the addition of WMplus.

Basically if he compared the Move's sport games to that of WiiSportsResort, it would be an entirely diffferent article with the two probably being essentially the same. Then it just become preference to visual layout.

To me, in the end its basically a choice in value and based on the fact that a 2person Move setup is dramatically more expensive than a 2 person Wii setup for essentially the same motion experience, Wii wins.

So the real selling difference is the same one that has always existed. The overall game and usability choices as compared to their repsective prices. I think the last few years has proven, Wii wins again.

However, I am glad I own both (Wii/PS3) and RE5 and other shooter experience *may* convince me to spend the $$. But, a $200 price to add 2player move to my PS3 is just ... wow.

I would have agreed with the WM comparison if there had been more games for it. Aren't the only games that use it right now WSR and Red Steel 2? With Wii Party and Zelda coming?

No. There are others. CLICKME! But, yes it isn't anywhere near even half the library. However, that is more due to the fact that 1:1 motion doesn't improve the experience on the majority of genres.

If you take ping pong as example, theres a massive difference between the move ping pong VS wii motion plus ping pong. Motion plus still feature avatar moving on track to where the ball is, you decide the force and angle of the racket but not the position in 3D space. In move, the avatar is "you", your arm and racket position is reflected 1:1 in the game 3 D space. You can watch videos on youtube, with an openmind you should see the difference.

Nintendo's forced limits on mobility for pingpong do not negate the fact that they operate essentially the same.

Bet no one will ever tell a difference between the two in Tiger Woods golf game as an example or the controls a future COD game that's enhanced for both, etc. You know, games people actually want to play. .... fuckin ping pong for christs sake... btw, I did say 'essentially'... one mini game out of the rest fits in that realm.

Except for Tiger Woods, if you swing the Wii-mote like a baseball bat he won't do the same onscreen.  The players are still have a set of pre-programed motions for swings.  Or put another way, their swings are onrails.  With the Move version, the arms move as your arms do.  So if you move the club like a bat, the golfer will move his like a bat.  So you have to actually be able to hit the ball like a real golf ball.  Unlike the Wii, where it really is only measuring the force you swing with.

Edit: Also, there is lag even when using Wii Motion Plus, so I wouldn't necessarily say it's complete 1:1.  However, I do realize that there was also lag on the E3 demo of Tiger Woods for the Move when he swung quickly.  We'll have to wait and see if EA irons that out before the release of Move.

What are you talking about? Tiger Woods with WMplus is 1:1 in regards to the game of golf. Why do I need the game to swing it over my head? Not to mention that is how EA designed the game, not a limitation of the controller.

I am willing to put money in any paypal account if the next TW game is not identical in controls for both controllers.

CNET doesn't count. They've pulled off Morgan Webbs on Nintendo in the past.

Alright, 19 games have been released so far in the west which support it according to wiki.

And I think 1:1 motion can improve many things in games, but most games still has to work with the normal Wiimote and so can't be designed to take full advantage of it.

CNET doesn't know anything about what they are talking about, so i wont buy into this.
