You must ask yourself, "What would Kenshiro do?"

Talking about Kenshiro have you even watched Hokuto No Ken 2? if not please don't talk to me since I think even Kenshiro wouldn't dare to look at you! (;P)

Kenshiro doesn't need a phone innate telepathy FTW!!!!

Well... not yet. I've been working my way back through HnK 1 before I watch 2.

I'm playing Hokuto Musou, though! Right now!

That's absoloutely absurd you brand ALL police officers like this, my ex was a police officer and he would never have done anything like that.

I'll tell you some stories one day perhaps. I know not every police officer is like that. I know many are. I know they protect their own above anything, and everything else. One person is all it would take to snatch the phone, and no one would be willing to turn the person in.

@Kamal
I mean putting the sim into a different phone. I dunno how phones work elsewhere, but here you could get another phone to work with the sim card and get the contacts that way. I've done it a few times for people who broke their phones and wanted to make a few calls to tell people whats up.

Wow lucky BASTARD! How is the game?

Wow the power of Kenshiro has made us derail from the thread.

I'd give it 11/10.

I had something similar to this happen to me a few years back.

I ended up taking the phone back to one of the phone companies kiosks.  At the store the manager unlocked the phone in the back and pulled up the customers info (not giving it to me of course).  He called the guys home and left a message to come and get his phone.

That is what I would do.  No reason to go to the police or turn it into the cab company, just go straight to the source (if you can).

I would do what Ssenkahdavic suggested.

Take it to the company kisosk, and have them retrieve the owner's information.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

I found 2 dollars on the floor in the movie theater yesterday. I asked whose it was but no one paid attention. I kept it.

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

Call or text some of the people on the contact list and you can give it to the owner. Dont bother the police.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

This is the best course of action open to you. I know keeping it is tempting, but morally it is wrong if you could find a way to get it back to him. Of course if there is no reasonable way to get the phone to the company it would default back to ok in my play book of right and wrong.

Turn it at the bus station. Name the bus, where on the bus and time it was found. Then let the loser of the phone look at the station.
