You really think the $50 price cut is going to triple weekly sales?  I expect them to go up but damn, I don't think you're gonna see that kind of increase.

I think it looked awesome, and i wouldve got it but i just dont have a wii. the other thing is i think it could have very strong legs, we dont know yet...

Nintendo must be gloating: with its competitors we are disappointed if they don't sell well, with Ninty we are disappointed if a game with excellent WW sales hasn't excellent sales in every region too.

As long as the vast majority of users will have this attitude, it will mean that Ninty is still perceived as the undisputed winner.

You don't know what the Arcade will have though. Maybe the Arcade of the future will come with a 60 GB harddrive. They've also added wireless and made it much quieter, which adds value. 

It isn't common sense, because there are so many things we don't know. The only thing we do know for sure, is that Microsoft are working on a cheaper 360 unit, which will be sold alongside the new Elite unit, meaning the only thing that is certain, is that it will be less than $299.

they said in late summer they are releasing a new version of the arcade at 199.99 not 149.99. i suspect it will have wifi and a smaller HD than the 299.99 slim
