Forums - Sony - what I Dont Understand About Dead space 2 on PS3

they announce special eddition with remake of extraction for PS move but they didn't announce move support for Dead space 2 itself. If they have the technology down, how hard is it to add it to dead space 2?

I was really looking forward to Dead space 2 being played by move but i didn't happen.I just want to know why?

Might be because they want to reach deadlines, and not delay the game more, or maybe sony assisted them in making the transition.

Is the original Dead Space on the move?   -NO

Neither is the sequel.

There is however a dead space spin-off type game which has existed and came out on the wii, that game is called Dead Space Extraction, which is easily ported to the PS3, thus the pack in.

Get it?

Maybe Dead Space 2 would be better with Move support, but Maybe not. Since Dead Space 1 and 2 were never designed to be on rails shooters like extraction, I think Move support would only hurt the title.

Thanks for the clear up, for a second I thought Dead Space 1 had move controls (I was like why didn't I see that conference)

is socom on rail?no it didn't have to be on rails,,,,they could use move for aming and stuff and not change the mechanism of the game.

Even if they do announce it, it'll be part of their $10 deal as a dlc.

That doesn't make sense. Dead Space 2 is a new game with a focus on shooting, Move controls would be nice if they can enhance the gameplay, which SOCOM 4 seems to demonstrate.

I was hoping to see Dead Space 2 with Move controls as well, but you can't have it all...
