I'm afraid that you are referring to Conduit 2.
I hope they re-schedule.
By the way: I wasn't planning on getting any fps anytime soon. After knowing about this remake, I changed my mind.
While i wish this game would have massive sales, It will probably not even reach the 1mil mark... How ever it may get the record for the most pirated wii software...

I hope you are wrong, though you may not be with the "most pirated Wii software" part.
Well I think the graphics are terrible. Looks like a PS2 game and one of the bad ones. We know the Wii can do much better than what was shown. I know gameplay is very important, but this is a remake so a graphical update is essential, otherwise one might as well get the N64 game.

Not bashing the game, just noting the game's meant to play great, not look great. All I'm asking for is cleaner graphics, better draw distance, and control as great as Conduit/MWR. |
Also the infamous Haze that seemed to cover all maps.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

You can't do controls like the Wii with the N64. You don't have to like the graphics, but don't you dare pretend they are the only thing this remake is going to offer.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs
HOLY FREAKIN JESUS, this is too good to be true, I still don't fully believe it! Don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.. Ninty's conference can't get here soon enough!
At first I was like "lol Activision" but that actually looks pretty darn good. Sure brings back memories.

Again, what are you talking about? The characters actually weren't blocky, because it was one of the first games to use soft-skinning on the models, meaning textures would go seamlessly over the usually rough edges (like shoulders, elbows, knees) of polygon characters. The draw distance was pretty good too, it was the first console FPS in which you could actually use a sniper rifle, just check out the dam level. Also worth of note is that the game despite it already good looks managed to have music in four player splitscreen mode, something Nintendo failed on in Mario Kart 64, a game that looked far worse just about half a year before Goldeneye was released. (The Nintendo 64 didn't have a sound chip; graphics and sound were both generated by the GPU, so developers had to make tradeoffs between those two elements.) |
Wow. MK64 is possibly my most played game of all time, and I never noticed that!
