It's not, they're biased, newsflash.

It's ugly in the same way the 360 is ugly to begin with. It's too tech-y. Sacrificing actual ergonomic form factor for the sake of looking cool is not the way to go.

I highly doubt it will use the same HDD, which sucks, but to be honest, this is probably shipped with a lard HDD, and with the 360 you can actually save on a flash drive and transfer profiles games, ect, so it shouldn't be an issue. You just get an upgrade to your HDD, basically. No real loss there, imo, unless you just wasted 50 bones on a new 120 gigger like I did.

I also thought the PS3 slim was ugly by looking at the screens, but my opinion on the design changed when I saw it in the store. I'm hoping this is the same case for the 360 redesign.

It looks largely the same to me. Except i dont see the 360 hard drive that all the current units have.

The USB ports are on the front. Can't you guys see them? Its the same deal as the first Xbox 360 design, they are behind a flap only this time the flap is running the other way, its vertical not horizontal against a console standing up.

I will buy a slim 360 if:

- They eliminate the 'light of death' from the console;
- They drop the price.

Looks don't matter a lot. As long as the console is smaller, less noisy and doesn't die out nothing, I'd be happy to get myself one. As things are now, the PS3 is a better deal.

Well, I'm not sure you have enough information to make that assumption, but know this. It is not a big leap to assume that most people on this forum are biased, nor is it a big leap to assume if would affect their opinion on an ink blot test like this one.

However, it is a huge death-defying leap of logic to assume that this system sacrafices anything for the sake of looking cool. For all you know, it's desined the way it is for airflow or other structural reasons.

Now, you don't HAVE to be biased to believe this thing looks ugly, but it helps.

Honestly, I'm starting to love this thread.  It's a like a giant troll trap.  If all goes well, all the trolls will be banned before E3 actually starts.  Should result in a nice time for the rest of us.
