I do not think it look's that bad myself.

is it just the way the case is slightly slanted even though the xbox360 will still lay flat, or is it just that you maybe expecting something along the same line's as say more rounded edge xbox360 thinner and smaller?

Excuse me then for getting excited over this. It seems we can't get excited over anything Xbox on here. I have seen Xbox sell mediocre for the past few months, this is a chance for it to make a comeback, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings by getting excited for it.

Well for ME this is the one to get now, its got built in wifi a big hard drive and looks aeons better than the old design.

If its coming bundled with NATAL even better.

They are targetting this towards people who don't have xbox 360's.

I understand that without a true side by side it isn't entirely possible, but do you really think the DVD size shrunk?

Just compare the DVD drive sizes in both pics, they are the same. I highly doubt the discs went the Gamecube route.$

I noticed that too, it definitely looks taller, and kinda tooked in at the hips slightly more. but this is certainly no "Slim"

I think it looks like the top is angled down from front to back, still making it possible to attach the OEM Hard drive.

Still however looks just as wide, possibly slimmer though slightly.

you don't have to troll the other console to get excited for something..

 

you didn't see me go "360 IS FUCKED, PS4 IS COMING" when those ps4 teasers for ps3 were coming out..

 

Also, unless it drops in price, I don't expect the gap to go up.

I'm curious to see how small it is before I make any judgments. It's nice to see they finally added Wifi. I hope it's an actual Slim model. The PS3 Slim is uglier than the original design and near the size of current 360 design.
