It was 30 FPS.
how funny, and we all thought 3D would gimp our games.. =P
looks at disolitude

If the game works at 60 FPS when played in 2D, that should mean that they can improve the graphics even more and just lock it at 30 FPS like they did with Killzone 2, right?
I wonder what they'll choose, even better graphics or 60 FPS in 2D :P
Anyways, I don't like FPS games, so I don't think I'll ever buy this game :P But who knows :P Maybe I'll get it just to apreciate the graphics...
yes this means they can improve the graphics twice as good as they are now (wow).
But, I would prefer the graphics to be slightly better than KZ2 at 60fps (not that it needs to look better) with there expected variety with environments, and then drop it to 30fps without dropping the resolution to play in 3D.

How? Frame rate and graphics is not an equivalent exchange like that. You can't just half the frame rate (60 -> 30fps) and have twice as good graphics lol, that's just silly. If anything, the lower frame rate can make the graphics better but not twice as good, it all depends on the engine and what it allows.
well you are running the game at twice the speed, so I assume you could add alot to the graphics as you lower the speed, since the CPU and GPU work together to develop the framerate at 60fps.

Go watch some of the Killzone 2 trailers then rewatch the Killzone 3 trailer. Or hell, just look at some Killzone 2 screenshots. The difference becomes far more noticeable then.

I noticed the graphical differences. I'm mainly talking about gameplay. Everything in the trailer, I already knew about from previews and screenshots.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm very excited for KZ3.
