Now that's outta the way I shall talk about my experiences playing MGS4 the best game I've ever played in the post below.

Why is OoT regarded as a Master Piece? While I thought it was decent. It wouldn't even be in my top 100 games if I were to make a list. Though Wind Waker probably would be in there somewhere.

But OoT to me is a forgettable game.

MGS4 on the other hand is definitely in my top 10 games EVER.

(I guess the same thing could be said about MGS4 to some, this is just an opinionated response though) :D

Me and the people who live around me must be the only people on the Planet who love Story heavy games with cutscenes. Gameplay is important to us, but the story is just as important.

Well sorry, but I didn't even expect that coming from darth. Making a statement "The best game of all time" is just inappropriate and must be replaced by "My favorite game of all time" because this makes it a subjective statement that, I know, a lot of people will disagree with. It's not an idea, it's a mistake in the thread name and I assure you I can respect other opinions. Your intervention, btw, was too harsh.

Next time darth, as a friend's advice, change the title and make it resemble an opinion. The thread was too fanboyish, yes, and I made the comment because I knew it was going the way it is now... the war of the best game.

The difference between what you just said and your original post is that you blatantly flamed darth.

You called him a fanboy, which in these forums is the lowest insult possible, and you don't even know that he's as far from a fanboy as possible.

The title was purely for hyperbolic effect. It was a joke. And my intervention is not harsh when you're being annoying.

Now, again, respect the idea that people have different opinions than yours and don't resort to calling them fanboys when you don't know what you're talking about.

Nope, I know darth for being far from being a fanboy, but it was a really bad idea and it drove to another between which game is the best. I called his "hyperbolic title" very fanboy, not himself, and I know what I'M talking about.

Calling the statement someone said fanboyish is calling someone a fanboy.

or not. The action fanboyish, not the guy. I know darth and seeing his sig, he's not a fanboy. Now you can leave in peace.
