Oh how I wish our staff could control themselves, and if they have a point that goes against the thread they term it in a way that doesn't turn the thread into a fanboy war in the first reply.  But sadly that isn't to be.


I hope your joking, but if you haven't noticed, almost every criticism of Sony on the Sony boards leads to a flame war, no matter how it's phrased. The fact that he decided to use sarcasm in his post, which is a legitimate argument, is irrelevant to what's happening in this thread.


I am not joking, he made a flamebait post.  Now if he had said his point in a decent way and not tried to cause a fight then the Sony fans who start the flamewar in response would be at fault.  But since Source made a flamebait post he is the one who started the flamewar, and he is the one at fault for the current state of the thread.

The same could be said of the Nintendo boards and the Microsoft boards (though in the MS boards it's nowhere near as bad)


That's true. It probably doesn't happen as often in the MS boards because the number of people who visit them regularly is way lower than the other two.

As I already pointed out, he was just one of many people who had a hand in creating the Playstation brand.  Heck, Nintendo helped create the original Playstation in large part.

Trying to say Ken 'created PS1-3' is like saying Miyamoto 'created Wii'.
