Forums - Nintendo - Melee Levels In Brawl

I loved the poke floats level and the FZero level where you were on the cars (can't remember that one's name,) I would like to see those two return (or more similar to them)

I am a Gauntlet Adventurer.

I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly. What Video Game Character Are You?

Flatzone was soo hardcore. And by hardcore I mean lame.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Big Blue.  It's the favorite stage of one of my friends so I've had countless battles on it...

crash man, your avatar is godly

I hope to see Big Blue return, and Brinstar Depths. I really liked those two levels, so manic.

i hated any of the levels in which i spend more time traveling then fighting like the ice climbers level or pokefloats. hyrule temple, mario 1 and 2, flatzone, and pokemon stadium where my favorites. i doubt that they'll bring the pokemon stadium back since they have an updated level though.

BRING BACK FLATZONE!!

edit: just had a thought, a level based off of supermario galaxy!!  you probably couldn't do a spherical level since you couldn't see the entire level but how about one of the side scrolling levels with various gravity polarities.  it would be like fighting in an etcher picture!!

I have a feeling for a Melee Yoshie stage coming back.

Ummm the one of link stages the one that had the big turtle :P I liked that one, the one of mario, that had that ship that flies then it sinks. Emmm I just like all stages..... it had their uniqueness..... and anyway, it isn't a must to not have items, you could enable the,....... even tho some could be pretty cheap

I love Fountain of Dreams and want to see it return. Since its inspired by HAL's game, I bet I will see my wish =D. IHopefully though, Flatzone won't return to vex us all with its darned hammers and ridiculous size.

@Crashman [please feel free to ignore]: I respect your opinion but I also hope you can understand the concerns of those who in attending Smash tournaments travel very far and dedicate an entire long day to completing their tournaments. As tournaments results are supposed to be definitive, an overwhelming majority of such people do not want all that effort to be, in their opinion, overly determined by random factors. (The problems impact of items is magnified by the inability to turn off the mechanic that some crates and containers are randomly explode upon contact, which becomes highly problematic in that such an item can spawn once players have already dedicated their characters to a certain courses of actions they cannot change once begun.) Yes, such randomness could theoretically be leveled out by a huge number of trials, e.g., raising the stock or best of x to huge levels, but such parameters would be unfeasible if you wanted to field enough participants to make a tournament worthwhile and still complete it within a reasonale amount of time. Having organized 3 smash tournaments myself at my college, I felt such concerns even amongst my own participants and friends -- and none of them drove countless hours or even had to fly to attend my tournamanents.

Awww... come one, no SSB64 love?

Old School Hyrule FTW!

(also this better not be the half-assed past stages that sit collecting dust at the bottom of the selection screen)
