Let me start this thread off topic:

 I guess I am what you call a "Hardcore Gamer,"  I got all 120 stars in Galaxy, and working my way through the second time (for those who know what I am talking about,) been playing games since the days of Atari and Intellivision, and I love the smash brothers franchise.

As such I can't stand the idea of playing smash on flat levels with items disabled.  To me proper item use and avoidance is as important a skill in the game as proper move usage.  Yes, any "newb" can grab a hammer and knock off everone, but if you are truely skilled in the game, you can use the limited manuverability of that person to your advantage.

Any way, enough of my editorial and back on topic:

Today the official Brawl page released the details that the game will feature levels from Melee, in particular the temple level was announced today.  I was elated when I read that as that was one of my favorite levels in melee.

What levels would you like to see return, and which wouldn't you.

I would NOT like to see the ice climber level return, I hated that one.

Fourside, I loved its music.

Brinstar Depths (the spinning Metroid one). Around and around it goes, better be quick or you'll get hosed!

I wouldn't mind seeing the Ice Climber stage return.  I loved playing on that stage because everyone else hated it.

Why should it have to?  Brawl rarely gets any new threads, but there is a new "OMG METAL GEAR SOLID 4 ON THE 360" thread every week.  One new Brawl thread a month doesn't hurt anything.

Corneria, though I would rather have them make it a full Brawl stage, with perhaps a couple new features...as it was updated from N64 to Melee.

And again, with Mushroom Kingdom, that was an N64 stage, and they changed it for Melee. I hope for a new, classic Mario stage for Brawl.

Oh good grief. I'd blocked that one from my memory. It wouldn't have been nearly so bad if the KO walls weren't insanely close to the screen and the falling items didn't hit as hard as smash attacks.
