Do you buy your games new or used? I was just wondering because I have always bought all of my games New for many reasons. 1 main reason was to give game companies money instead of it not counting for a sale while another reason was because I didn't trust buying games used as I didn't want to take the risk of it not working. I may have to switch and buy my games used now though... Games for me are just starting to add up in price a lot and I am now to the point where I don't even know if its all worth it! Some games are such as Brawl but others were a waste of $ such as Deadly Creatures. I mean console games are $50-$60 now and I just can't afford it anymore. I never wanted to buy used games but look at the price difference:Super Mario Galaxy 2  is $50 new and only $40 used which saves me $10.Modnation Racers is $60 new and only $50 used again saves me $10.Halo 3 is $30 new and only $20 used which also saves me $10.Total for all 3 games new is $140 and used is only $110 which saves me $30.Now think if I did this with 20 games... It would save me $200 which to me is a lot of money.The point is even though I don't want to take money away from Game makers I may have to start buying all or at least some of my games used from now on.What do you think? Are new games to expensive? Do you buy used games?

BUT SOME GAMES DO NOT DESERVE IT SO I WAIT LIKE 3 MONTHS THEN THEY REDUCE THE PRICE THEN I BUY THEM, AND SOMETIME I BUY THE GAME USED ( BUT RARELY)

YOU CAN WAIT LIKE 2,3 MONTHS THEN BUY THE GAME NEW, YOU CAN SAVE LIKE 20 BUCKS AT LEAST

if a big time game such as halo 3, call of duty or mass effect come out ill buy them new to contribute to the sales totals, but other then that buying used makes much more sense. Besides game stop typically offers a 7 day waranty on all games for free, and if you are that concerned they sell an aditional waranty for 3 dollars.

yeah you are right nintendo doesn't reduce the prices,

depends, older Wii and DS games are hard to find new, but I tend to buy new generally

it's a mix of both! sometimes I just don't have enough money.(though my entire PS3 collection were bought new)

though my friend awhile back(who buys everything new) told me buying used games is like almost like pirating, because you're getting a game that in now way benefits the developers and stealing potentials sales.

If its a newly release game I but it new but if the game is old I usually just buy it used.
